Community Support Keeps Us Going
One Rescue provides lost pet assistance to the community at no cost because families should not face a financial barrier when they are already dealing with the stress and heartbreak of a missing pet.
To keep offering this support free of charge, we rely on community donations, fundraising, grants, sponsorships, volunteer support and the generosity of people who believe in our work.
Community funding helps cover essential rescue costs including equipment, food, fuel, veterinary care, microchipping, desexing, vaccinations, foster care supplies and everyday resources.
Get Involved With One Rescue
There are many ways to support One Rescue, including fostering, rescue operations, animal transport, fundraising, catering, events, administration, social media and community outreach.
Foster carers provide safe, loving temporary homes for animals while they prepare for adoption, recover from difficult circumstances, or wait for their forever family.
Volunteers may assist with field support, search assistance, transport, fundraising events, lost pet alerts, adoption profiles, messages and behind-the-scenes support.
Full training and guidance are provided where required. Whether you can help occasionally or more regularly, there is a place for you in the One Rescue community.

Donations Over $2 Are Tax Deductible
One Rescue Incorporated is an ACNC-accredited registered charity, and donations over $2 to One Rescue are tax deductible.
Your Donation Can Make a Real Difference
- $20 can help provide food, bedding, flea and worming treatment, and essential supplies for an animal in care.
- $50 can help fund vaccinations, microchipping, parasite prevention, and basic preventative care to give an animal a healthier fresh start.
- $100 can help cover a vet consultation, basic treatment, medication, pain relief, or urgent care for a rescued animal.
- $250 can help support larger rescue costs such as desexing, specialist equipment, emergency supplies, transport, and ongoing care.
Regular monthly donations are especially powerful. They give One Rescue more certainty, allowing us to plan ahead, respond to urgent requests faster, and keep essential equipment ready for the next animal who needs help.
Your support helps fund humane traps, 4G trail cameras, thermal drone equipment, crates, carriers, food, fuel, veterinary care, microchipping, desexing, vaccinations, foster care supplies, and the everyday costs involved in rescue work.
